Drank in the company of brewmaster Matt Allyn. Slight haze in an otherwise ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance. Very little aroma but what aroma it has is mild hint of sweetness. A warm feeling follows each sip and each sip makes me appreciate the beautiful sunset outside a little more and more. Very little carbonation. This beer is not in your face, I was expecting a rather rude alky awakening with this brew but it is pleasantly lacking. Many american made belgian strongs are quite unrefined, I am please to add this is not of that genre. This is one of the few american made belgie imitations that actually reach into the level of a real belgie. Good job Voodoo! You are a strong entry into the otherwise below average example of american belgies.
