Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. 2015 bottle. Brown color with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, winter spices, licorice, toast. Sweet flavor with caramel, spices, toast, licorice, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

500ml bottle provided by djoeye. Good looking with a fluffy light brown coloured head resting over clear mahogany coloured body. Dark malty aromas with hints of dark spices. Slightly smoked dark malts to the taste buds, hints of coffee and anise. Mid-sweet. Well bodied. Fits the winter season (shared with Finn at his place in Tromsø 08.04.2015).

God krydderaroma. Smaken ulike krydder. Ingefær mest framtredende. Lite variert - men vinterkos.

Cask at the Bishops Arms (Gustav Adolfs Torg) Malmo. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly white head. The aroma is weak malt light red berry fruit. The flavour is weak bitter with a watery light hop spice palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. No sweetness at all in the palate and lacks flavour & body. Way too light for a winter ale.
