50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Dark brown liquid with a mahogany hue and medium off-white head. Aroma of pumpernickel, roasted malt, toast, cinnamon, cloves and maybe some coffee. Taste is light sweet with light to medium bitterness. Quite malty and spicy. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Quite nice but a bit thin. Really christmasy.

9/11/12/10/12/10

Very dark brown but clear beer. Thin head. Not much carbonation. Smooth malt with a distinct fruity note of cherry and raspberry. Just a hint of smoke. No bitterness. Very smooth indeed. Slight saccharine dryness in the finish. Unusual and tasty.

First Snowfall of the Season tasting in Odense. Very dark ruby brown with a creamy and lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, dried fruit, fresh green grapes and clove, anise and cinnamon. Dry, toffee bready malty flavour with a spicy finish. It’s all good to begin with, but soon the spices are just overwhelming

Bottle. Dark brown colour, light brown head. A lot of spices in the aroma also some orange, marzipan, raisins and roasted malt. Flavor is roasty and smokey with strong notes of herbs, spices. Also some chocolate and grass. Bitter and dry, one of my favorite Christmas beer.
