En kryddig ale med komplex fyllighet följd av stor beska
Mysingen Midvinterbrygd har lånat sitt namn av vattnet mellan fastlandet och Utö. Denna ale med sin välbalanserade kryddighet är inspirerad av tidigare seklers recept på öl till fest och helgdag. Brygden är kryddad med muskot, kummin, nejlika, vanilj och färskrivet apelsinskal. Som alla våra öl är den opastöriserad – och bryggd med omsorg och kärlek.

2011 bottle. Black caramel colour no head with a little oil lsick on top. Big Treacle and a little soy sauce aroma. Little oxidised roast toasty flavour. Lingering coffee. and a little apple in there as well.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Spicy cinnamon, fruit aroma. Flavour is spices, cinnamon, some smokiness.

Dark ruby with remaining foam. Sweet aroma, cinnamon and eucalyptus. Alos some licorice and ginger in the taste. Typical christmas beer.

Bottle. Nice winter warmer. Dark altough sweet maltiness. Notes of toffee and almonds. The spices adds a christmassy feel.

Dark ruby colour with a beige head. Roasted malt, spicy and cinnamon nose. Almost full body. Balanced sweetness. Spicy complex flavour, roasted malt, fruity, christmas, cinnamon. Lovely winter warmer.

En traditionell julale med mycket smak och lagom sötma och beska. Smak av apelsin, kanel, ingefära, karamell, russin. God och välbalanserad.

Dark red, almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of teryaki sauce, soy sauce, molasses, tomato paste, light sour, caramel and malts. Flavour of molasses, rather sweet, malts, light porto, light touch of hops. Finish is soy sauce, molasses, malts, with some light lingering sweetness.
Slightly strange, but interesting.

50cl from Alvinne biershop. Cuivrée, col beige crémeux. Arôme est épicé gardant ce bon bouquet de bières hivernales; cannelle, cardamone et muscade. Malt léger grillé. En bouche, malté, épicé similaire à l’arôme sur un palais restant grillé et caramel. Les épices sont bien balancées sans prendre le dessus, en fin de bouche, une fine amertume houblonnée est à noter. Pointe de massepain. Le tout reste bien agréable, léger et facile à boire.

On tap at avenue Pub. Pours a very dark brown with a small off white head. The aroma is a roasted malt and coffee. Medium mouthfeel with a dry roast a dry finish. A decent old ale.

500 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on December 22. Pours chestnut brown with a creamy gray head that slowly dissipates. Smell is malty sweet with some metal, dark bread and spices. Taste is metallic with bread and spices. Finish is slightly dry and slightly bitter.
