Bottle at home. One year old. Pours a hazy reddish brown colour with a big, beige, creamy head. Aroma of dried fruit, wood, leather, brown sugar and some chocolate. Has a even more sweet flavour which is pretty similar to the aroma with more dried fruit. Has a rich mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A complex and sweet Belgian strong ale. Nice enough.

Bottled. Dark brown colour with a beige head with medium duration. Aroma is Belgian yeasty, chocolate, chocolate plumbcake and toasty. Flavor is sweet, brown sugar, toasted malts, cookies and chocolate, slightly citrus notes and a light bitterness in the final very good compensated with the sweetness.

Flaske 0,33l kjøpt på Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Tromsdalen. Mørk amber. Uklar. Høyt luftig og svakt farget skum. God krydder- og fruktaroma. Røde plommer. Smaken er søt frukt. Blir overtatt av søtlig krydder. Litt kanel. Avslutter syrlig med litt sherrypreg. KI=4

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Pikkulintu) The beer poured reddish brown and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma contaiend fruitiness, aniseed, clove and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The taste was quite pleasant with crisp spiciness and fitting sweetness. The flavours I found were malts, Belgian yeast, sweetness, aniseed, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was quite dey and bitter. Adding yeast turned the beer musty. Nice, solid brew. Easy to drink and not really anythingh to compalin about.
