Bottle, 0.33l. As Ørbæk Dark Horse, 4.8% ABV. Murky brown/amber pour, minimal off-white layer on top that leaves some lacing as it goes down. Nose is a bit fruity sour, mild roasty wood notes, hints of hazelnuts in the background. Thin to medium body, average carbonation. Regular texture, a bit prickly on the tongue. Bittersweet taste with a bit of fruity sourness. Aroma is a bit different than expected, mild roasty, some wood notes. Strong biscuity feel, wafers, nuts, mild cocoa. Caramel in the background. Medium lasting finish, slightly metallic aftertaste. Overall, not bad but comes down a bit too thin and watery. Ok.

Deep dark color with a fine off white head. Mostly a bit sweet toffee aroma with some roasted notes. Medium body. A bit unbalanced over to the swet side. Average carbonation. Toffee, some coffee and mild fruity flavor. A bit to sweet, but still easy drinkable.

Bottle from Brugsen, CPH - dark brown with beige head. Roasted and sweet malty aroma and taste, brown sugar, caramel, some burnt malt notes, overall bit to sweet for my palate.

33 cl bottle - as Dark Horse - @ Marv & Ben, Copenhagen. Deep dark brown color, clear. Rather dense beige head. Aroma’s: caramel, roasted & sweet malts, some red fruit. More roast & drop retronasal. Flavor is lightly sweet, drop, a hint of acidity. Light bodied. Finishes with light roast and bitterness. Pleasant & well crafted.
