Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt with caramellish and flowery notes. Roasty, bitterish flavour offset by malty sweetness. Drybfinish. A reasonable brew, but it is hard to say if it is a Dunkel or a Schwarzbier (as stated on the label.)

As Ørbæk Dark Horse, 50 cl. bottle. Dark brown colour with a medium sizeed, creamy off-white head. Lightly roasted aroma with brown sugar, caramel malts, vague hints of honey and coffee. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes light bitter with with notes of roasted malts. A bit to one-dimensional in the malt-profile otherwise decent considering the price tag.

Bottled. Clear dark brown. Faint aroma of molasses. Medium bodied with clean hard mouthfeel. Molasses and fudge, a slight tatr edge. Low bitterness. Very primitve beer without any likable features.

50 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. Rated on 2.8.2009 @ Utsjoki
Slightly light aroma has caramel, some sweet malt and herbs. Light flavour contains sweetish malt, caramel and spices. Some harsh bitterness. Not really the most typical schwartz. Too light and thin, but drinkable.

Bottle 50 cl. Black beer with a nice head. Both the aroma and taste are roasted malty, some chocolate and dark fruits. Hmm, I have made some strange notes here..

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramle and light hops. Taste is much like aroma with a little sweet fruit added. Medium body, soft carbonation. Not bad, easy dinking beer.300311
