Flasche 0,33l: Rubinrot, glasklar, kräftiger fester feinporiger beiger Schaum; sehr würzige Nase, kräftige Süße, Malz, Getreide, leichte Röstaromen, dunkle Fruchtigkeit, Karamell, etwas Schokolade, leichte Bitterkeit; im Körper kräftige Süße, deutliche Würze, Malz, Malzzucker, süßes Getreide, dunkle Fruchtigkeit, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, leichte Säure, Röstaromen, Tannine, dunkelfruchtige Bitterkeit; angenehmer würzig-fruchtiger Nachgang mit leichter Bitterkeit

Flasche von kevnic2008! Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr malzig, süß, leicht alkoholisch, Karamell.

Golden clear colour with a weak head. Light aroma of sweet malt. Very malty flavour with a alcoholic finish.

Strange: front label says "Helles Starkbier", but the beer in the glass is brown. Small head. Starts strong-malty, modest sweet, some fruity hints. Finish less malty, some alcoholic notes. Could be more intense and maybe a bit sweeter!

Draught at Wolfbräu Wirsthaus, Karlsruhe, 5.6% ABV
Dark amber color; creamy head. Bad smell of milky puke, rancid kitchen. Correct body strength, caramel flavor, nutty; correct bitterness; and then rancid butter. One of the worst beers of the year. You gotta be kidding!

Hopfig-herber Antrunk, wenig würzig. Hier noch relativ mild, die Würzigkeit wird etwas stärker, ebenso die vorher eher hintergründige Bitterkeit. Im Abgang etwas alkoholisch, die Bitterkeit unterdrückt die bockige Würzigkeit, das Bier wirkt etwas unharmonisch und einfach nicht ausgereift genug, es sollte weicher sein. Geht so. Bottle, 6.7%. Rough spent grain aroma. Clear yellow colour, small white head. The flavour starts off with a very uncompromising bitterness. Then it turns very malty with a little smoke and a little cream. Quite surprising, and not bad.

Clear golden with tiny white head. Sweet aroma with notes of unfermented brewing cereal and alcohol. Sweet bready flavor with notes of brewing cereal and caramel.

Bottle. Clear medium to dark yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, flowers, lime - lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (080308)
