500ml Bottle - Amber/brown in colour. Fruity aroma with some sweet notes and the pine needles also noticeable. Sweet, malty taste with honey and fruit and a light tangy element on the tongue. Interesting stuff and worth trying again.

Swing-top bottle Pours copper orange with a foamy head. Sweet honey aroma with notes of caramel and sloe. Flavour is more sweet honey but most of all moss and Labrador-tea, lots of Labrador-tea. I’ve just realized that I really dislike the taste of Labrador-tea.

2008-05-18, bottle at Ølfestival 2008, Århus, 5-3-5-2-10=25
Cloudy blond color. The usage of the pine needles gives a soapy touch, not much attractive…
2007-09-14, draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Cloudy amber color. Delicate aroma of herbal candies (Ricola and family). Medium body structure, with sweet caramel flavor, honey and a nice herbal note (mint, rosemary, camomile…). Not bad.

Cloudy amber with a big white head. Intense herbal aroma, close to similar Brøckhouse beers such as Esrum Kloster. There is some honey and a hint of perfumed pine. Sweet with a lot of the pine in the flavour, making it a little cloying.
