500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.8%. Deep golden to amber colour, slightly hazy. Big off-white head. Light and sweetish pleasant aroma, fruity, spicy and floral, with notes of orange peel, coriander and cardamom, hints of honey. Moderately sweetish flavour with distinct spicy notes, hints of orange peel and honey, and a distinct and dry hoppy bitterness in the finish.

500ml bottle brought back home from a pre-Christmas shopping at Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo. Orange coloured body, slightly cloudy, and with a dense, off-white head reduced to a few patches. Fragile lacing. Spicy smell mixed with orange fruits. Sappy and ripe fruits in flavour blended with spiced wheat. Rounded fruit bitterness to the finish. Foamy in the mouth. Medium bodied. Gives a satisfying impression of a well crafted brew (Tromsø, 29.12.2010).

(Bottle at Pikkulintu) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was quite large and white. Aroma was spicy and malty. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spices, malts, citricness, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. For me this was too spicy.

Bottled (BB 09/2010)
Hazy ruby color, small beige head. Aroma has cardemom, caramel and yeast .. also some signs of overageness (papery). Medium-bodied. Caramel, spices, some yeast in the flavor. Lingering XMas spiceyness in the aftertaste. Decent.

Bottled (from Estate Wine). Amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is coriander, zest, mild sweet malts, some hops as well as cardamom. Flavour is cardamom, some clove, mild zest as well as some slight caramel. A quite nicely balanced Xmassy beer. Would probably fit the Christmas food table well.

Bottle at EsBF09. Spicy aroma, cinnamon and a faint butter note. Hazy copper colour. Small grey head. The flavour is a bit sweet, it has some cinnamon and aniseed. OK balanced, but not exceptionally good.
