Browny/black with little head. Little coffee notes. Roasted malts & chocolate. Filling body (not thick though). Lively carbonation for a stout. Plesant & enjoyable

A very dark brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of chocolate, combined with notes of roasted malt, caramel, and some fruits - like oranges. The flavor is sweet and quite roasted with strong notes of chocolate, rye bread, and some fruits, as well as a light coffee note, leading to a burnt bitter end. The alcohol gives a slight burn in the throat.

Biggish light brown head over opaque black body, dark brown at edges. Slightly acidic, soft milky burnt aroma with pine needle notes. Taste is strong pine needles and mint with acidic burnt oily aftertaste, with some ash. Didn’t really care for the acidity, but otherwise good. (0.5l bottle.)

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, dark brown with a warm, reddish hue and a creamy, beige head leaving a good lacing. Fantastic aroma of fruit and roasted malt. Medium body with sweet, roasted malt and a vaguely burned edge. Discreet bitterness in the finish. Lovely indeed. 230506

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Dark brown with brief, off-white head. Licorice aroma. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel. Plenty of coffee and roast ymalt. Near full bodied. Licorice takes over in the finish.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown excellent mostly lasting head. Brown colour. Surspisingly more hoppy aroma than malty, but I think tahts a good thing. Very good fruity flavor, oily palate. Not as much chocolate/cofee taste like normally in stouts.

Almost opaque black color, huge tan head. Strong aroma of ashy wood, licorice, roasted malts and cold coffee, but metallic tinge drops a point or two. Medium bodied. Licorice and roasted malts dominate the flavor. Coffee and licorice in the aftertaste. Reminds me about some other Danish stout. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Balanced, tasty stout.
