0.5l bottle. This pours a really oily dark brown body with a brown thin head. Aromas are some what vague, but hints of roasted malts, definitely some coffee, sweet chocolate and molasses. Loath of carbonation and surprisingly thin bodied giving a somewhat watery mouthfeel. Good roasted profile with hints of some sweet black fruits in the end. Could not tell that there were four grains in this if it did not say so on the bottle.

6th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. Opaque black beer. Short lived chocolate head. Fresh minerally malt. Crispish palate. A little lactose sweetness. Finishes dry and crisp. Nice snappy palate for a stout!

On tap at Lord Nelson. Poured near black with a chocolate head. Pleasant dark aroma. Flavor lacked a little something for me. I picked up some chocolate/coffee along with dark malts. A simple Stout in my book, nothing to write home about.
