(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a white head. Fat citrusy nose. Quite full-bodied with a high degree of sweetness, overripe fruit and citrusy notes. Lightly bitter finish. Nice alright, but not really much of a Barley Wine. 310808

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a slowly collapsing and lacing white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma. Sweet and fruity hops flavour with acidic touch. Lasting fruity and hoppy mild spiced aroma. Light yeasty and mild touch into the finish. Smooth. Nice one.

Cask (gravity) @ The National Winter Ales Festival 2008, Manchester, UK. Unclear medim orange color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, old malt, fruity, berries, sweet. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat. (190108)

Bottle, picked up from Dodgy Deli’, Cowley Road, Oxford Poured hazy amber colour, very little head. Aroma was sweet and alcohol. Tasted very strong, quite sweet, alcohol ever present, some dark fruits, fine.
