Notater fra 7 Fjells særdeles hyggelige juleølfestival nov-23, hvor alle øl ble servert fra fat: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Mørke chokoladekarameller, lakris, Sachertorte, hint av bjørnebær pluss et par saltkorn. Saftig avslutning med utpreget mersmak.

Can, at Håndverkeren. It pours a black to dark brown body under a small brown head. The aroma has alcohol, roasted and lightly burnt malts, brown sugar and some dark dried fruit. A spiced hint too. Feels rather artificial in a way, both aroma and flavor. It's full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, but it's rather edgy on the palate. Roasted malts, some burnt notes, alcohol, maple syrup, caramel, toffee and some dark dried fruit in the flavor. Quite warming finish. A bit rough, perhaps due to freshness, but nice indeed. 231103
