Bottle from the Dodgi’ Deli’ Cowley Road had this, this evening 22-04-08 Light mid golden, bubbly white head that quickly disappears some sulphurous notes and a little sweet malt. Soft in the mouth, some vanilla and a very light bitterness which shows at the end, restrained and a bit safe but pleasant with some light citrus, even little bit dusty. This gets better and I suppose it suffered from having to follow Casey’s impressive IPA, not bad at all.

Bottle, Carringtons, Didsbury. Poured a Golden (what else?! ) colour with a lingering white head. Malty, citrus aromas. Hoppy nicely balanced fresh crisp taste with further citrus hints. Decent dry finish. This is a good 3.49er.. ok make that 3.5.
