Can, purchased at BrewDog Berlin).
Hazy, pale amber pour with almost no head. The nose opens with grapefruit and honey, followed by tropical fruit tones of mango and passion fruit, plus a faint suggestion of banana. On the palate, it begins fairly heavy and sweet, with mango and passion fruit leading the way. Bitterness is minimal, leaving the sweetness a little dominant. The mouthfeel is soft and creamy, which makes it smooth and drinkable, though the overall impression is somewhat subdued compared to more vibrant examples of the style.

Hell hopfiger, mild brotiger Beginn. Alkoholische Tendenzen, wenig süß, überhaupt überraschend schwach. Mild würzig, trocken, wenig bitter. Süffig, unspannend. 12/7/9/6/9/7

Tight off white head on vivid golden coloured body.
Nectarine, resinous & hopped aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a lively sticky back.
Melon, nectarine & resin tastes with a bitterly hopped finish.
Nice enough.

Austria has been a bit of a pinball nation for me, having shot into it on five different occasions but have never ever spent a night there - a personal record amongst all countries! Hazy, strong tasting, sticky-sweet tropical fruit although with a notable citrus base in this instance.

Can. A medium haze on this orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Smooth pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Cooling pine into juicy hop fruits. Whisper of savoury skunk underneath. Smooth citrus and stone fruits, mild candy fruits. Closes smooth with a modest and slightly tangy bitterness emerging. Every now and again Brewdog remind you of their heritage and produce a good brew. I just wish it was the norm instead of bucking the trend. Very quaffable dipa.
