Dark brown with a frothy off-white head and a mellow chocolate malt and dark fruit aroma. Fresh and fruity, some roasted malt, chocolate notes, a hint of coffee and a dry finish.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 12 May 2024) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, dark bread, toast and prunes. Malty, roasted taste with caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, black-currant and a balanced roasty/spicy bitterness in the finish. Light body, dry. Tasty and well made mild. Nice one.
