This is a dark strong belgian ale brewed together with the winners of the home brewing competition ”Belgoträffen” in Uppsala 2022. The beer has matured for 8 months om a red wine barrel from Bordeaux and was only brewed in a limited edition of 220L.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 10 | Overall - 7.5
(Draught at En Öl- och Spritmässa, Stockholm, 7 Oct 2023) Reddish brown colour with brief head. Fruity, malty, vinous nose with notes of caramel, oak wood and alcohol. Malty, fruity, vinous taste with dried fruit, oak wood, port wine, caramel, raisins, dates and a warming finish with a gentle spicy bitterness. Full body, with a slight sweetness. Quite vinous and woody, but rich and tasty. Not excessively complex, but well balanced. Very nice.
