A Dark amber premium beer with robust malty overtones and a bitter sweet full bodied taste. Brewed using the Finest English Maris Otter Malt and Goldings hops this big, beautiful malty monster is an industrial strength beer at it’s best.

[Cask at Back of Beyond, Reading] A case of "yes, yes, yes, no, no ugh!". Sweet & malty at first but descending into bitterness, eventually revolting, struggled to finish it. Nothing special about this.

Cask handpull at Knights Templar ’Sporks. Amber, disappearing beige head. Not great condition, bit syrupy on the malts, one I will re-rate in better condition if I can. A syrupy malty juicy beer, decent earthy tasty fuggles hops, some toffee. Could be good I think. Fuggles are nice, so is the residual grapefruit.2.8/5 Re-rate at Cask gravity at Rare Breeds BF 08. Tangerine satsuma fruit. Bit of farty yeast. Juicy tangerine in mouth. Good condition. Lovely orange/satsuma fruit. Wonderful finish. Farty aroma isn’t great, but the rest is excellent.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] An orange beer with no head. The aroma contains notes of caramel and oranges, as well as slight notes of diacethyl. The flavor is sweet with notes of oranges, hops, and grass, leading to a bitter end.
