A deep ruby, almost black colour. The bitter burnt toast flavour rounded off by the jumbo oats.

Cask (handpump) as Santaโ€™s Elephant Stout @ Wenlock Arms, Islington, London N1, UK. Clear medium brown color with a average to huge, frothy / creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, light vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat. (311207)

Cask handpull at Simple Simons, Canterbury. Ruby brown colour with bubbly beige head. Dark fruit, blackcurrant aroma and choc. Good in mouth with more blackcurrant/berry. On of the fruitier stouts. Not very stout like in fact, more of a fruit beer
