On tap at brewery tap. Aroma is all toffee. Some of that toffee biscuit comes through but there’s plenty of that first gold hop (and it’s super English) too, and they don’t meld well.

From Cask @ the Price Edward. This one has that almost moldy looking prickling white head that some cask beers have. This on top of a near clear prawn deep amber colored body. Not much nose here, really not anything else then a light caramel hint to pick up initially. There is a faint hint of some soft bubbles, other than that it feels like any old bitter served from cask - both on the carbonation and in the mouth. A soft nutty sweet flavor here. Almonds perhaps with caramelized apple and a little bit of butter. Drinks quite easily this. No real bitterness to write home about, but it's a classic standardized cask conditioned bitter this. 09.11.2013
