Cask; Regular. Replacement for Best Bitter.
This is an ambient bitter, successfully merging the biscuity sweetness of English malt with the fruity, floral bitterness of locally grown East Kent Goldings and Target hops, to give a clean, satisfying and moreish drink.

Cask at Mable’s Tavern near King’s Cross. Darker amber color with an off-white head. Malt, light caramel, is the aroma. Less than medium body. Fruit slightly overlayed by roasted caramel. A bit harsh. Bitter of some sort balances this at the finish. Good, but more malt than hop for most of the drink.

Cask handpull at Society Rooms, JDW, Maidstone, Deep copper colour with bubbly off white head. Nice yeasty hop aroma. Finish is rather stunning. Very drying, almost dessicating hop, bit thin in mouth the the rest is good. Touch of caramel malt. Hops on end are a bit of a revelation
