Cask at GBBF 2007. A copper colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet with notes of both caramel and citrus, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

Golden with a small white head. Grass and earthy hops in the aroma. Dry with a hint of fresh hops. Generally boring, not least considering the name.

Cask handpull at Wenlock Arms. Never been much of a fan of Nethergate and seeing a 3.5% so called IPA didn’t fill me with hope, but I am glad to say that this won me over. Copper colour with lasting bubbly off white head. Drinkable session bitter. Soft and hoppy. Bit of yeast/sulphur aroma. Easy drinking in mouth with slightly hoppy finish. Bit of citrus. Won’t win any prizes, but a well made weak session bitter.

Golden Color. Grassy hop aroma, manure, pears. Ordinary malt, quite strong bitterness. Just a bit more than common.

Cask. Yellowish golden, not much head, but the head is foamy and longlasting. Citric aroma with hints of malt and a bit hops. Very smooth fruitish semi-bitter hoppy flavour. Also a bit soapish. A bit more carbonation would be nice.
