Cask-conditioned at the Ship & Shovell, London 5/06/10. Golden with a slight white head and moderate carbonation. Sweetish malty lager, with a touch of fruitiness and dryish finish. Not bad.

Draught at Shaston Arms, Soho. One of the better lagers I have had. Golden colour, no head. Goodish lager with good balance, some lemon and hop finish

[At Archery Tavern, Paddington, London] A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty, and so is the flavor, though with a slightly hoppy end. Drinkable, but I rather have an ale in London and a real HB in other places.
