Pours clear deep golden/orange with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, fruits, caramel and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

500ml bottle kindly shared by Magne at the hotel room. Clear amber body, lasting low, off-white head leaving dotted spots to the glassware. Dried fruity aroma, notes of caramel malts. Malt-fruity taste, marmalade impression. Spiced bitter tail. Medium bodied. Likable (London, 27.11.2012).

500 mL bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear amber color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel malts, tinny hops, faint raisin notes. The taste is caramel, toffee, citrus, raisin, faint hops. Medium bodied. Nice beer. Also, this beer’s 200th rating!

Another christmas gift beet. Pours brown, with small white head. Tastes of cherry, cola, caramel, grains, and pepper. Kinda sweet but carbonated well.

500 ml bottle. This beer poured a orange/amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma had citrus notes, spices. Was an okay brew, but a bit too much like some of their other brews I’ve had in the last few days. A bit of a bitter finish rounds out this one.

50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Golden amber with a thin cream head; rich earthy malt aroma with hints of figs and dates; smooth, creamy body, with some lightly spiced, fruity malts; then sweet and caramel before a dry finish. Very pleasant.

Nice aroma of hay and honey with toffee and tea, quintessentially British. Hazy orange, thin head. Toffee and tea flavor, with a light mouthfeel that isn’t chewy. Grassy finish. Alcohol unnoticeable and seems quite quaffable. This style of beer doesn’t get rave reviews, but beers like this are very good once in awhile. Not super strong, heavy, or thick, but still very flavorful. Hit the spot very well.

Lots of malt in the flavor and aroma, but also considerable hops, which leaves a dryness after the sweet malt. Definitely a bread quality also also vegetable character.
