Commissioned Christmas ale with thin, off-white head and pure, clear amber colour. Nutty aroma, some caramel, peach, honey, grass, but also my good friends H2S (sulphur) and DMS (cooked red cabbage)... Fruity taste with sourish hint probably due to a mild infection, caramel, strongly nutty malts, thin and bit resinous mouthfeel, fading away into a non-existent finish with only some structural aromatic hops. One of the weakest Belgian Christmas beers I’ve had so far.

Bottled at Kerstbierfestival 2007. An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit and malt as well as hints of smoke. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruit, as well as a light alcohol note tickling the tongue, leading to a dry spicy finish.

33 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours copper golden and clear with a huge off-white head. Malty aroma, almost slight chemical/plastic. Flavour is dry malty with a slight yeasty spice note on top. Quite simple yet decent to nice. Finish is slight soapy.

Bottled@Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Deep golden amber colour with small white head. Juniper, treenails and some spices in aroma. Similar flavour. Seems like a very experimental brew, that may need some more time to develop.

Bottle Kerstbierfestival 2007: Poured a hazy blonde with a jello white head. The aroma is spicy ginger and coriander. The taste was sweet sugary with a cereal taste as well. Not bad, but not note worthy either.

Good stable yellowish/orange head over clear pale-copper beer. Sweet-ish nose, a bit spicy (ginger), toasted. Arachide, ginger, peppery flavours without being overly spicy. Lots of restsugars, even liquorice. I do not get the orangepeel, sorry. Medium bodied, empty finish. A bit dull. To stay polite.
