Low in alcohol but not in flavour; we’ve risen to the challenge of the Chancellor’s new lower duty rate on beers up to 2.8% abv.
Soft and rounded with creamy, velvety mouthfeel and coffee, chocolate tones.
What’s in it?
Mild Ale, Torrefied Wheat, Black Malt from Warminster Maltings.
Whole hops from Charles Faram of Malvern
Lactose, real chocolate essence

Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 29/04/2011. Clear, deep gold with a decent white head. Near black in colour with a tight, off-white head. Aroma of milk chocolate with a hint of roastiness. Flavour had plenty more chocolate, sole lactose tanginess and a soft finish. Fine.
