Brutal bitter is a imperial bitter and one of the original hazy beers that dates back more than 20 years. Brewed and dry hopped with 100% Rogue Farms Alluvial hops that exhibit flavors and aromas of peach (no fruit added). The malt adds good structure, some nuttiness and provides a deep golden hue.

On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. The colour is hazy light orange and with a small off-white head. Malty aroma of fruity hops, apricot and some wet cardboard. Fruity is also the taste along with grapefruit and in addition a good dose of peppery spices. Tandoori? Soft and slick mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. A nice and spiced IPA.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Supermarket Liquor in Fort Collins. Pours a nice hazy orange appearance with a lasting, tan head that has nice retention. Slight cat piss, big orange blossom floral, soft but very inviting hop bouquet in the nose that also has a bit of caramel and toast. Slightly piney, earthy/herbal, orange citrusy, somewhat spicy hoppy, chewy toasty malty flavor with a smooth bittering, herbal hoppy finish. Pretty tasty.
