Brutal bitter is a imperial bitter and one of the original hazy beers that dates back more than 20 years. Brewed and dry hopped with 100% Rogue Farms Alluvial hops that exhibit flavors and aromas of peach (no fruit added). The malt adds good structure, some nuttiness and provides a deep golden hue.

12 fl oz. bottle. Orangey amber colour, foam white head leaving lacing and light aroma of fruity, slight mango, floral citrus, woody, hop. Taste is bready malt with mellow hop resins and woody spicy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft catbonation, dry earthy dusty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Frothy white head. Stone fruit and grapefruit in the nose. Medium body with moderate hoppiness. Just a standard middle of the raid, but decent PNW ipa

Bottle. Pours a bit hazy, nice amber, modest foam. Aroma is quite thick and malty, hops actually feel a bit faded. Which does not make the beer worse for me, but I guess it would taste a bit different when totally fresh. Taste is agressively bitter, malt body still dominating, giving the bee somewhat bready feeling. Aftertaste also having some long lingering bitterness. Good IPA, not too special or too amazing though.

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of caramel, green apple and orange. Flavour of sweet tangerine, menthol and pine needles. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Unlike the name suggests, this is quite a restrained IPA that’s high on drinkability.
