Cask, Marble Arch, Manchester.. Darkish copper colour with a thin off white head. Picked up some earthy dark fruit and maltiness in the nose. Strange, almost sherry barrel like quality lurking in the flavour which complimented the sweet malts nicely. A tasty brown ale that went down superbly with some expertly cooked lamb from the kitchen.
