Can from the dregs run. Pours thin hazy deep brown no real head. Aromas of peanut butter, marmalade and caramel. Taste is more of the same. Sweet tangy finish. Odd.

Can at ash's. Pours deep orange brown, nose is caramel, toffee, nutty, taste is similar, a touch of sourness. Not sure this turned out as expected. 6/7/6/6/6

Can thanks to Stuu666.
Appearance - deep brown rather than black, quite muddy. Not much head.
Nose - peanut butter, marmalade and caramel.
Taste - marmalade, peanut butter and not what I expected.
Palate - medium bodied, tangy and sweet.
Overall - strange, these guys are usually on it.

(Draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 21 Feb 2025) Black colour with hints of ruby. Creamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, roasted nuts, caramel and treacle. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with chocolate, sweet espresso, caramel, treacle, peanut butter and a mild roasty bitterness. Full body, sweet. Possibly a touch too sweet, but rich and tasty. Nice one.

33cl can from Etre Gourmet web shop.
F: medium, tanned, quick gone.
C: black, opaque.
A: chocolate, cocoa, caramel and… peanuts of course.
T: full malty base, light cocoa, peanuts of course, caramel, bit coffee, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, light oily mouthfeel, ok not bad yet bit boring all together.

Blik gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een medium beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en pindas. De smaak is pinda achtig en zoet.

One-third pint, nightcap, shared with Finn. Filmy layer leaving spotty lacing on the glass, coal black body. Inviting grainy chocolate on the nose, smoothly roasted. Dark malt-driven flavours, hints of nutty chocolate, earth, cocoa and a backdrop of coffee. Roasted dark chocolate malty ending, rather sweet. Sipper qualities. (Liverpool, 12.02.2025).
