From the 2024 barrel-aged mix pack - pretty sure the “aged in red wine and bourbon barrels” part should be in the name - pours looking like cola - kicks up a slight lace that disappears completely - nose and flavor are quite heavy on red wine character - strongly tannic flavor that dries things out after an initially sweet, chocolate approach - back end had blackberry, lingering oak, and a finishing warmth that lingers in the throat - it’s nice.
