750ml bottle from Papsoe; nose of coffee, cocoa, and roastiness; clear very dark brown with a small tan head; flavor of roasty coffee and dark chocolate; finish is light hop bitterness. Better than I imagined from the other ratings!

Bottled, thanks thewolf! Dark mahogany, rich firm head. Sweet with notes of dark bread, nutmeg and syrup. Medium to full bodied wityh a wealth of burn, roasty malt. Long herbal bitterness. More of a spicy winter ale than an Imperial stout.

Bottle. [ Thanks to Enjoyit ] Clear dark brown color with a large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, mild coffee, creame. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (271007)

Black color. Not Imperial, but only a stronger Stout; the body is quite weak and it has a too strong bitterness an roasted malt presence. Unfortunately both the aroma and most of all the taste have a disgusting dirty water and washing product character. Geez… Just not drinkable. I will try it again if I get hold of it, but for the moment that is.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours an opaque, almost black but does have a tint of orange. Creamy, beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malt. Fairly full-bodied with lots of roasted malt and a burned edge. Lots of licorice flavours and a bitterness deriving from the burned malts. Very delicate actually. 060307

Tap at C4, Odense: Black with a thick brown head. Roasted malts - liquarice & coffee. Soft body that is Ok filling (closer to watery than thick). sweet little metallic taste. Bitter roasty dry finish!
