750ml bottle - pours a fizzy clear purple - the port notes are most prominent in the nose (tannic, oaky, medium sweet), with touches of dark fruit, brown sugar, sherry, alcohol - lighter-bodied and drier than expected, with strong vinous character, oak, blackberry, cherry skins - finish is the only place you get noticeable peppery yeast, but it gets enveloped by the alcohol warmth to the point that they become hard to distinguish - there are enjoyable qualities to it, but the more I drink it, the more it sometimes starts to taste like watered-down red wine - I was hoping for better, but I'm not disliking it.
