Tap at Renegade Publik House - hazy amber - thick, well-sustained head with sheets of lace that stick all up and down the glass - it actually looks pretty awesome - potent hoppiness throughout the nose and flavor (I’m guessing simcoe and summit), but with enough malt heft and sweetness to balance very well - soft cadbonation and creamy body - really feels quite nice in the mouth - leafy bitterness, caramel, toffee, earthy, woody hop flavors throughout - none of the garlicky notes I usually taste from these hops - I’m not typically a fan of american strongs these days, but this is a winner.
