Tap at Renegade - black pour, minimal head/lace - nose of dark rum, vanilla, oak, spices, dark chocolate, anise - you kind of need to like rum to enjoy the nose, though - low carbonation, a little thin in the mouth for something so strong - flavor is medium sweet, with a fair amount of spice, toasty oak, vanilla, rum-filled dark chocolate - a touch of tartness before a very warming (but not boozy) finish - some of the bitterness of the base beer comes through on the tail end - I like it, but it could use a heavier body.
