Growler filled at the brewery a few hours ago - clear straw color - fizzy, short - lived head, but a lively bodied - simple but inviting nose of honey, grassy hops - starts out with medium sweet pils malt and moderate husky grains - dries out through the middle and packs a considerable hop bitterness for the style - lingering, spicy finish - sort of a German/bohemian pils hybrid - the finish is not as clean as I would like, but it is a nice beer nonetheless.
