Tap at Euclid Hall - this one sits on the border somewhere between a Scottish and scotch ale - pours a dark reddish brown - medium body, moderate carbonation - a bit of toffee and plumy sweetness up front, but this quickly subsides as a drier, semi-earthy character sets in - none of the phenols you would expect, but a bit of spicy and woody character on the end - surprisingly balanced - went great with my sausage plate.
