A huge hop aroma introduces the "King of the Golden Beers". There is a hint of spice in the fruity flavour and a long finish that completes this classic beer.

Cask (handpump) @ The Compasses Inn, Gomshall, Surrey, GU5 9LA. Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy / creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, grass, lemon, grapefruit, moderate malty, hay. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration and a nice dry finish with a good balance. Body is medium, texture is oily / creamy, carbonation is flat. ;o))

Cask condition, gravity at Reading BF 2007. Gold colour with lasting white head. Nice English light hop aroma. It’s a decent citrusy bitter. Lovely, great grapefruit, grassy, very good condition. Good zing, zesty, lovely and another good Surrey Hills beer.
