Opaque black beer with a creamy beige head. Very light malt aroma. Flavour is light and chocolatey with a bitter, toasted malt finish following it up. Body is a touch watery but other than wishing there was a bit more kick to the smell I can?t find much to fault. Very drinkable.

Cask @ Belfast Beer Festival [141114]
Dark caramel brown, tan beige head, good lacing
Aroma of fairly burnt roasted malts, soft earthy roast
Taste of roasted malts, some dark sweet malt underneath, soft coffee grounds, touch of savoury yeast, good flavour for abv
Palate - Medium light body, good palate. Finish of toasty bread, quite bitter roast
Overall - Usually like less roast in a mild but this was decent

Cask@GBBF 2014, London (13/08/2014) - dark pour with a beige head. Subtle toasty malty, dark dried fruit, nutty and chocolate (combined like liquid Cadbury’s fruit and nut) very subtle, smooth and well balanced, loved this.
