Pint can - mostly still ruby pour - nose of whiskey, treacle, brown sugar, sherry, a very light funkiness - kind of flat and lifeless in the mouth, but I appreciate the traditional British flavor profile this brings - treacle, caramel, plum - some oxidation and oak - a bit heavy on the whiskey late, but still not as overbearing as some other BA barleywines - I’m glad I’ve started returning to OMF beers - I was not impressed in their early years, but they’ve really upped their game since.
