Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 7.5
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a near white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has chocolate and light soy sauce with a bit of dark grains and roast supporting. Flavor combines soy sauce, roast and bourbon with a bit of chocolate in the finish.

4 ounce at the brewery - dark ruby pour - chewy and quite sweet, with heavy bourbon character that becomes quite heavily boozy in the finish - too much for the malt structure to sustain, really, getting very hot on the tail end.
