Chalice at the brewery - hazy dark purple - fairly thick tan lace - low carbonation, but fairly creamy in the mouth - really well-masked alcohol, just presenting as a moderate warmth in the finish - flavor is medium sweet caramelized sugars, fig, plum, light spice, a touch of clove, light yeast dustiness - so far the best beer I’ve had here.
