Tap at the brewery - black pour with a really well-sustained tan head - definitely has some sweetness to it, but is fairly dry compared to other stouts like this - a touch of smoke - present but not overpowering vanilla (so many vanilla stouts taste like pancake batter to me) - a bit of spiciness - slight savory character in the finish - the bourbon doesn’t come through until the finish, but adds some warmth and depth - it’s tasty!
