Pint can from the brewery - hazy dark gold - nose and flavor have esters and phenols reminiscent more of a Hefeweizen than a saison - clove, bubblegum, banana, pepper - that’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it is an enjoyable beer - these just generally aren’t characteristics I want in the style - texture is pleasant - medium dry - moderately spicy on the back end - finish is slightly watery - it’s alright.
