Small pour at the brewery - hazy amber - aroma is deeply peaty and earthy (really does smile like scotch, which I can’t always say for “scotch ales,” especially those made in the states - rich, earthy, peaty, mushroomy maltiness - a bit savory and spicy flavor though the middle - finishes with light bitterness and lingering peat - quite nice.
