Tulip at the brewery - hazy amber with a thick head - flavor of sweet, earthy honey - moderate acidity and spice to cut the sweetness, but this IS a high-gravity honey ale, after all, so it is quite sweet - some dried fruit - finish is boozy and a bit cloying, tasting of sweet liqueur - there are some qualities here that remind me of Samiclaus - would love to try a batch of this with some years on it.
