A subtle yet complex blend of several barrel aged beers and a young Belgian triple, this beer strikes a balance between light tartness, mellow funk, light oak, mild phenolics - the red wine barrel lends some subtle tannic character, touches of oak - a nice change from the overly funky or overly sour wild ales out there.
