On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome), Colorado Tap Takeover. Bruna, intensa, schiuma color bianco sporco, non molto abbondante e poco persistente. Al naso sentori di caramella d'orzo, toffee, latte bollito, frutta matura, ossidazione. In bocca è dolce, caramello (zucchero di canna), con finale amarognolo, ossidazione. Corpo medio, carbonazione leggera. Inizialmente discreta, poi alla lunga stufa.

Nose: that English feel of dusty room, over ripped red fruit, hemp. Like it. Mouth: clean as much as USA brewer interpreter our EU ancient styles. The bitterness is a bit too relevant. Tulip at the brewery - pours dark ruby - more along the lines of an imperial brown in flavor profile - a lot of roasted nuts, toffee, dough - some autumnal leafiness, a little bit of tobacco - a fair amount of alcohol heat on the tail end - full carbonation - it’s okay.
