Cask - I prefer this to the original - nose is much like the base beer (toffee, treacle, prune, dough/cookie), but the flavor has the spiciness of the oak and rye whiskey to cut the treacle sweetness of the base beer - prune, raisin, basement/mushroom earthiness - finish is spicy rye, moderate toasty oak - soft, creamy palate - very nice.
